Our mission: Game Time Scouting Sports Academy was founded on the premise of being able to provide the most effective game time hitting anywhere in Alabama. We have a virtual pitching machine that will throw fast balls, changeups, curve balls, sliders and sinkers from a number of right and left handed pitchers. The Academy was founded by Jim McGuire and Andy Cowan almost 4 years ago because they wanted dads to have a place to go and spend time with their family working on these great games that we have grown to love through baseball and softball. This will still be a large part of the Academy.
We offer instruction such as hitting, pitching, speed and agility, and fielding on Baseball and Softball.
We are committed to providing quality instruction to all players and instilling in them that hard work, focus, attitude, strength, and effort will enable our players to become successful.
VIRTUAL PITCHING MACHINE
Each lesson will consist of 3 players rotating every 15 pitches for the duration of an hour while working on tee work, soft toss, or taking dry cuts to work on our timing. We will focus on our video swing analysis at the end of the evening so we can ensure that we have something to talk about on our next lesson to allow the player to get better at hitting off of live pitching. If we only have two players, we will work for about 40 minutes instead of an hour.
1 Lesson (3 players will rotate during the hour) $50 each
4 Lessons (3 players will rotate during the hour) $180 ($45 per lesson)
8 Lessons (3 players will rotate during the hour) $320 ($40 per lesson)
Team Rental 2 hour $25 per player (10 minimum)
With Membership $40 for each lesson
Catching Lessons will be conducted with 3 players for an hour or 2 players for 40 minutes. We will work on framing, blocking, receiving, foot work, throw downs, snap throws, signs, calling the game, along with catching off of the virtual pitching machine.
